Badger Temporary Support Prop
Remote-release temporary support — patented safety innovation.
Titan Mining designed and patented a temporary support prop with a release mechanism unique to the industry. The Badger can only be released remotely from a safe distance by means of a pull cable — it cannot be released with the tensioning handle.
Two models are available in a range of lengths: the Badger Plus, which can yield up to 100 mm to accommodate ground movement, and the standard Badger, which is non-yielding.
The prop was developed to improve and promote safety of personnel while removing temporary support in the working environment.
