Titan Mining manufactures and supplies 13 products and services to South African gold, platinum and hard-rock mines — backfill equipment and turnkey backfill contracting, temporary mine support props, underground safety products, water and mud management systems, and cross-cut rehabilitation.
The range grew out of contract mining work started in 2001: each item was built to solve a problem the crews met underground. That includes the patented Badger Prop temporary support system, mine safety nets for fall-of-ground protection, mud accumulators for wet workings, and the backfill contracting service that places fill from surface plant to stope.
Everything is priced on application and can be adapted to a mine's own support standards and panel dimensions, and is supplied to mining regions across South Africa from our Randfontein factory.
Support

Safety

- All products are priced on application. Pricing depends on quantity, specification and delivery point, so we quote each mine individually — send an enquiry and we come back with a written quote.
- Where does Titan Mining deliver?
- Titan Mining supplies mines across South Africa from its base at Randfontein. Delivery to gold, platinum and other hard-rock operations is arranged with each order.
- Can products be manufactured to a mine's own specification?
- Yes. Sizes, lengths and configurations are regularly adapted to suit panel dimensions, support standards and site conditions. Send us the requirement and we engineer to it.
- Are the products suitable for underground hard-rock mining?
- Every item in the catalogue was developed for underground hard-rock use and is in service on South African mines. Several, including the Badger Prop, are patented Titan Mining designs.
